Spiritual Calibration

Calibrate means: To take external factors into account
So just as a scale, weighbridge needs calibration, so does the atmosphere in our homes, relationships needs re-calibration from time to time. I've worked in the weighing industry for quite a number of years and calibration plays a very important part. No proper weight will be established. Calibration in the weighing industry should take place every year, but because the scale or device is mishandled, it requires frequent re-calibration and there's a cost to it.

We are faced with so much negativity it can turn our days upside down. We sometimes don't even know how to come back from it. It's important that you know how to adjust the situation at any given time.
We have to be conscious and be ready to whenever the enemy strikes.
Let's do some spiritual calibration.
When we are focused and tuned in to his fiery darts we won't have such a huge cost attached to it. We won't loose any sleep because we are on it. Our feelings doesn't play a huge part because you are always ready to re-calibrate.
Re-calibration means that you are molded daily, and it means you'll be shaped daily.

Shaped for life...

Cleansing Can Be Done

Have you noticed, when you feel low, frustrated, angry and discouraged, you just don't feel like being with people, 'coz you don't feel like answering their questions on why you feel this way.
You may even be at a point where you know the word of God can lift you up but that umph to open the word just ain't there.
This is what I call spiritual leprosy.  You are afraid of coming in contact with others because they will see your issues. They will see how distracted you are. You feel ashamed.
This reminds me of a story in the Bible where Jesus cleanses a leper. Luke 5:12 '...a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus,... saying', 'Lord, if You are willing,  You can make me clean."
We know Jesus can heal us of our feelings frustration, an get and every other issue, but we are not willing fall to our knees, humbling ourselves and ask.
Look what Jesus did for the leper. 'He put out his hand and touched him, saying. "I am willing, be cleansed."
How long will I continue to isolate myself from everyone when I feel low. I should immediately reach out to Jesus, because He is willing.l despite my flaws.
This is only a season and this too shall pass. It all depends on me

Emotions.....

I really liked this photo, as it is not just disguising the person itself, but it is also disguising the person's emotions.
This is how we sometimes feel when we allow life to control us. When we allow people, things and feelings control us.
We have to be so careful that we don't go back and visit the past. Pray without ceasing, because it is good for you.

Reflections And The Sound Of God

Reflections.... Without the noise of the everyday world around you. Just you, God, the sound of your beating heart, your voice and that still inner voice leading you into worship. A worship so deep and true, it's impossible for any distractions to sway you.

Level Of Worship

The deepest level of worship is praising God inspite pain.
Thanking God during trial. Trusting Him when tempted. Surrendering while suffering and continue to love Him when He seems distant.

Wings Of Love

Surprised by nature. We have just have to lift our head, open our eyes and see GOD's beauty teaching us so much.
We don't have to be sad anymore. Nature has a way of cheering us up. That is God, all God my friend.

My Cup Is Running Over

The Lord has shown me recently how important and vital a thankful heart is to our spiritual health.
Jesus gives us Himself (John 14:6). He is this abundant life. It is God's kind of life. "My cup overflows," means it is not just full; it is running
We do not have to wait until we get to heaven to experience God's banquet house. His overflowing grace is something we experience as Christians in this life.
Jesus said, "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly" (John 10:10b).
That is a cup running over with God's grace. He does not just give us the gift of eternal life when we first believed, but He keeps on giving eternal life. The life He gives us is perisson, meaning, "to have a surplus," "superabundance," "till it overflows."
